Fitbit Challenges: Try It. You’...

My first Fitbit was the narrower one, the Charge. I now have the larger one the Charge. I really like it.

I purchased my first Fitbit in April 2015. I figured it would be a good way for me to monitor how many steps I was walking each day.  I was a teacher at that time in a 6th grade classroom.  I figured I’d easily hit 10,000 steps a day (the recommended daily allowance). Boy was […]

I Won!

In my last post, I mentioned that I entered the giveaway contest on The All Seasons Cyclist blog for the Serfas Combo Kit. All Seasons Cyclist, reviews cycling products and then gives them away to the reader who can best articulate why they should get the gear. I’ve never, ever entered such a contest, but […]

All Seasons Cyclist Product Review and Give Away

I love reading the All Seasons Cyclist blog.  I learn so much about cycling gear and the cycling life all throughout the year from this man. Blogger on Bike

Hi, I'm Cat A.Olson, @According2Cat on Twitter, or @TheDigitalCat on Instagram, and I write about my cycling adventures. In 2010, after 25 years off the bike, I decided to get a bike and start riding again. In 2012, I was diagnosed with DCIS, an early and completely curable form of breast cancer. I had five weeks of radiation treatment and I rode my bike to nearly every treatment. In 2013, I decided to get a faster bike. I'm finally getting serious about losing weight, and riding really fast with the cool kids.

I ride every chance I get, as fast as I can, for as long as my body will allow. I'm learning how to embrace challenges like helmet hair, padded pants, clipless shoes, flat tires, bugs in my teeth, and...ugh...hills. I'm learning that both cycling and life are easier and a lot more fun when you're in the right gear.
